Brazil
Technology Network is managed through two bodies: Managerial Committee
of Institutional Articulation and the Executive Secretariat.
The Managerial Committee is entitled to approve the projects and
strategical actions of the Network. It is presided over by the
Ministry of Science and Technology and formed by representatives
from the following institutions:
· Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT);
· Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC);
· The National Confederation of Industry (CNI);
· Research Institute for the Industrial Development (IEDI); and
· Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE).
The
Executive Secretariat’s main attributions are to structure a group
of State Networks; manage the Brazil Technology Network; and inform
the Managerial Committee about the strategical actions and demands
from each State Network. The Executive Secretariat is presided
over by a representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology
and supported by a multi-institutional Consultative Council whose
mission is to help the incorporation of the Network’s strategical
actions.
